E-easy Support

Supported Browsers

E-easy Financials requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5
(SP2) or greater.  We use an automated test tool with Internet Explorer 6.0 to test major features.  However, there are currently no known issues with other versions.


Required Browser Settings

Javascript and ActiveX access is required for E-easy Financials to operate properly.  If you're having trouble, please check the following settings:

Add https:\\netbooks.e-easy.com.au to the trusted sites list.
Enable ActiveX scripting for the Trusted Zone.

E-easy Financials will work without these setting but an ActiveX security warning will be displayed and access to the Print, Print Preview and Pages Setup links will be blocked.


Recomended Browser Settings

These settings are not required. However, they ensure page compression and caching are working optimally.

Open Internet Explorer
In the Options Dialogue click the 'Advanced' Tab.
In the 'Settings' area scroll to:
HTTP 1.1 Settings
Select 'Use HTTP 1.1'
Select 'Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections'
Click the OK button to save settings

With these settings the average download size is only 3kb per page. Generally you can expect response times as follows:
